Prosperity Pharmacy provides flu and pneumococcal shots in medical offices, care facilities, senior centers, hospitals, churches, work-sites, grocery stores, schools, and practically anywhere in Northern Virginia that people wish to get a Flu Shot.

Medicare Coverage
The influenza and pneumococcal vaccines are covered by Medicare. Prosperity Pharmacy files claims to Medicare on behalf of patients and accepts complete payment from Medicare.
Professional Standards
- Prosperity Pharmacy uses only licensed pharmacists and interns, RNs & LPNs, to administer immunizations.
- Prosperity Pharmacy offers flu vaccinations to all persons age 18 and older and children 5-18 with a doctor’s prescription wishing to reduce their risk of contracting influenza.
- Our Immunization Protocol follows CDC Guidelines and is physician approved.

What should I expect?
Prosperity Pharmacy will positively provide consistent, timely communication with each site from scheduling to the final customer service call. Prosperity Pharmacy’s operation methods are proven to produce successful events. We provide a “hands-off” approach, which is designed to make your life easier.
- Prosperity Pharmacy will set up and run the entire process
- A room or designated area is needed to perform your clinic
- Tables and chairs will be needed for vaccine administration; quantity depends on the expected size of your clinic
- Prosperity Pharmacy will have and provide everything else needed for your clinic
How long will the clinic take?
The time for your clinic to take place will depend on the expected participation of your clinic. A standard clinic is typically around two to four hours
Who can get a flu shot at our clinic event?
Almost anyone will be able to receive a vaccination at your clinic event.
Then who can’t get a flu shot at our event?
In general, there are only a few individuals who should not get a flu shot:
- Anyone allergic to chicken eggs or sensitive to sulfates
- Someone who has a fever or an acute infection
- Anyone who has ever had a severe reaction to the flu shot
- Pregnant women in the first trimester
Why should we participate in this program?

- The CDC and ACIP have recommended adults 18 years and older receive the flu shot.

There are several ways someone can sign up to participate in your clinic event. The best way is to sign up for the flu shot using a signup sheet. This will allow the participant the ability to:
- Register for a specific appointment time
- Complete a waiver form in advance to speed up the process
